On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Sandridge Primary School’s website.
Our school is an extremely nurturing school where the children are at the heart of everything we do. Set in the picturesque village of Sandridge we work closely with other local schools, nurseries and a wide range of community groups.
Sandridge Primary School is a one form entry school with a Nursery. We cater for children aged 3 to 11 years and have an intake of 30 pupils every year (26 in our Nursery).
In Summer 2018, a purpose built ‘studio’ was built which was largely funded by Sandridge Parish Council and our PTA. We are fortunate to have extensive grounds which are used to enhance the curriculum and support our Forest School activities.
The talents of each child are recognised, developed, valued and celebrated. Children at Sandridge are offered specialist music lessons and a range of exciting enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities. Music plays a big part in the life of our school, with a large orchestra and choir that practise each week and perform regularly in the community.
Our aim is to provide children with the confidence, knowledge and experience to be responsible and successful citizens who are prepared for the next stage of their education and equipped with the skills to meet the demands of modern life.
Sandridge is an inclusive and happy school where everyone is welcome. We are fortunate to have a fantastic team of dedicated staff, supportive parents/carers and governors, as well as being an integral part of the village and the local community.
