At Sandridge all children are expected to make progress. We ensure that all children are given opportunities to deepen their understanding in all areas of learning. There is no ‘cut-off’ point to learning. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves. All across the school we are running intervention programmes for groups of children who need extra challenge as well as extra support. With 35 new children since last year, and many in-year admissions teachers may need to re-visit some areas of learning in maths and English especially if children have arrived at Sandridge from outside the United Kingdom.
In year 6 Mrs Taylor is running an intervention for pupils who are working on Key Stage 3 maths Curriculum.
