Last year, our school entered a team in all of the local cross country matches. Many children from Years 5 and 6 represented the school at these events and, without fail, did us extremely proud. Each match was held at a different venue with the running courses being an average of 1,300 metres long. Even though the distance was challenging, we were pleased with how our runners kept going right to the end and, as a result, we were rewarded with a couple of top ten finishes.
We like to think that the ‘Daily Mile’ at Sandridge has helped prepare our children to put in such a sustained effort. Well done everyone!
