Welcome from the Headteacher

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Sandridge Primary School’s website. Our school is an extremely nurturing school where the children are at the heart of everything we do. Set in the picturesque village of Sandridge we work closely in partnership with other local schools, nurseries and a range of community groups.

Sandridge Primary School is a one form entry school with a morning only Nursery class. We cater for children aged 3 to 11 years and have an intake of 30 pupils every year (26 in our Nursery).

Our school has grown over the last few years and a small extension was built in 2013 to accommodate the increasing numbers of pupils. We are currently working on obtaining additional space for our ever-growing school family. We are fortunate to have extensive grounds which are used to enhance the curriculum and also provide a wide variety of extra-curricular and enrichment activities.

The talents of each child are recognised, developed, valued and celebrated. Children at Sandridge are offered specialist music lessons and a range of exciting enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities. Music plays a big part in the life of our school, with a large orchestra and choir that practices each week and performs regularly in the community.

Our aim is for each child to develop a life-long love of learning; our mission being ‘Learning to Learn together for Life’.

Sandridge is a happy school where everyone is made to feel welcome. We are fortunate to have a fantastic team of dedicated staff, supportive parents/carers and governors, as well as being an integral part of the village and the local community.

We warmly welcome visitors at any time, so if you would like to come and see us in action, please contact the school office for an appointment and I will be delighted to show you round.
